Stopworks Version 2.0 Viper Pit.

Stopworks komt met versie 2 van zijn Block 52 pit

The Version 2.0 Viper Pit has arrived!
Now with a worn, scuffed look that Falcon pilots have been asking for.
This pit offers a range of improvements over its predecessor. Unlike "photo pits" that look awkward and pasted on, the Viper cockpit is entirely constructed of hundreds of textured and detailed 3D renders, and merges seamlessly with the surrounding Falcon 4.0 world.

The object of careful research, the v. 2.0 features views in every direction. Normal and wide perspective, including several exclusive Stopworks features: integrated FF3/BMS 2.0 Speedpack; accurate tall sidestick; glass lenses, and 9G kneeboard. It is fully compatible under FF3 or SP4.

Announcing Operation Iraqi Freedom Theater.

Rob viper stort zich op het ODS theater

Viperworks received the full rights to mod the existing ODS512 theater which was originally made by Snake Man and his PMC TFW team.
So I've decided to start work on the Operation Iraqi Freedom Theater. It's gonna be a long way to go and I won't go this way alone, I've already got some help from other guys so that it's gonna be a team work.

New photo realistic terrain.

Photo-realistic terrain patch for FreeFalcon3, Superpak 4.x, BMS

It make change the terrain to more realistic colors and detail. I have worked over 4000 texture files during 6 months after BMS 2.0 published.
Eventhough it is just used by one coloring-utility, I had to change it 21 times convert from original texture files each by each. Each texture files be canged at least twenty several times by my hands.

Unfortunately, the work process is not done yet, cause after BMS group make block to editing 'Fartiles' by user, So,I could not make new fartiles. (But I think it is not bad for sight..)
If you want to change Faetiles, please ask to BMS guys about it.

Installation:

Extract 'texture.zip' and replace 'texture folder' in c:\MicroProse\Falcon4\terrdata\korea\texture directory. Please do not replace drectly first into '\korea\texture' without extract it.

I don’t know why people think we have dried up and gone away :-)

Basically there will be 2 patches one from F4UT and another from myself and Elephant.

First will be Sp4.2HiRes patch official from UT.
Release is just around the corner and we are in RC stage.
Currently it contains some new models and a lot of HiRes skins.
Maximum Texture size 1024x1024 BMP
Contributors are still welcome to come forward with models and skins and we will hold it back to add them. So it’s not too late. Only thing is that it must be something that is currently in the database. I.e. Old for New model swap.

The second Patch is Sp4.2BMS

This is will an independent patch made by Elephant and myself. It will support both BMS 1.03 and BMS 2.
It will be released a week or 2 after the official one from UT.
Currently it contains everything from the UT patch but we are looking to add some BMS only models should anyone let us have them.
Maximum Texture size 1024x1024 BMP or DDS
All contributions are welcome particularly BMS models as at the moment we have none. Sad.

LowLand Tiger Meet 2004

Hij staat weer voor de deur, de grootste militaire LAN meet in Nederland, de LowLand Tiger Meet 2004, 12, 13 en 14 November 2004. Vrijdag 12 November Preflight, fun flights 10.00 - 20.00 Zaterdag 13 November Competition start 09.00 - 23.00 Zondag 14 November Competition 09.00 - 20.00 > Falcon4 competition > IL2 competition > LockOn competition > Free-flight > Pitbuilders > Demoflights (XXX formaat scherm, cinema-projectie)

Competities, freeflight, demo's, cockpitbouw en vele andere zaken.
Dit jaar in een nieuwe lokatie, Aviodrome te Lelystad.
Naast dat bijna alle militaire sims gespeeld worden zal er ook dit jaar weer het een en ander nieuw zijn. Wat ....... de komende tijd zal het duidelijk worden.

De LLTM zou de LLTM niet zijn als er vooraf geen competities uitgeschreven worden voor de diverse zaken.
