VFF 2 jaar

De tijd vliegt. Zondag 25 juli bestond VFF al weer 2 jaar. 24/7 online, zonder problemen.
Met 28783 post door 771 users mag het een klein succes genoemd worden.
Ook Falcon5.NL heeft er al weer 4 jaar opzitten. Begonnen als een online opslag van informatie over Falcon 4.0 onder de naam dezolder.nl. vond niet allen ik de aanwezige informatie handig, ook anderen maakte er graag gebruik van.

En natuurlijk gaat dit alles niet van zelf. Veel dank gaat uit naar Roedie die een technisch oog in de computerkast houdt.

SP4.1/BMS date update

I have finally finished version 1.4 of the SP4.1 BMS Data Update. If anyone wishes to mirror the file please post a link in this thread - and my thanks in advance.

This version of the update is now a lot more tolerant of the install order. It is now safe to install 3D cockpits, models and skins before BMS, but you must use the SP4.1a Unofficial Update included in this package for this to work. You must NOT use the official SP4.1 Update.

FF3 will be the pplataform for this theater , we were working really close to FF team , and we share lots of info and stuff , thanks to BenBen and Ripsaw for the oportunity .. as far as i know stearman will have an add-on for SP4 , but as far as now , we do not want to do the installer for both version as the main plataform is FF3 .. now .. what you want , here it is! .. some pics.

FF3 F-15

This package includes all 9 USAF F-15E squadrons, plus one additional F-15C squadron, the 493 FS "Grim Reapers" from RAF Lakenheath. This files are all DDS and arranged so that all you have to do is drop them into your terrdata\objects\KoreaObj folder.

For the F-15C, the 493 FS uses the light gray compass ghost scheme, so there's more files for that one.

17-07 Free Falcon 3

Free Falcon 3 is uit.
Vanwege de grote van de file en de missers tijdens de release van FF2, is gekozen voor het vrijgeven van FF3 via het bittorent netwerk.

Gebruik AUB alleen deze site om het programma te downloaden.
Hustler heeft een mooie toelichting geschreven over bittorrent. Het systeem werkt makkelijk en veilig, maar is langzamer dan een http of ftp download. Echter hoe meer mensen de download ophalen en het bittorrent programma aan laten staan, des te sneller zal de download binnen zijn.
Meerdere sites zullen na een paar dagen de file als gewone download aanbieden op hun servers, waaronder Falcon5.NL.

New softwares versions for your Kitty.

This will come as a big surprise to most of you but no, you are not dreaming - The new Cougar software suite is now available!
We are proud to introduce Hotas Cougar V3.00 and Foxy V4.00. Head to the update page and enjoy.

We strongly advise you to use this latest version. Stability has been enhanced quite a bit and a lot of bugs have been adressed. This is probably the most important release since the original software suite!

The installation of Foxy comes in 2 downloads:

Foxyv4.zip contains the files required to install Foxy and its supporting applications.
Foxyv4FSSP.exe (Flight Sim Support Pack) contains joystick and macro files for most of the flight sims currently available. You do not need to install this if you don't want to, although if you are a beginner to Foxy or TM programming, it is highly recommended.
If you don't install this, the Favourites menu in Foxy and in FoxyGUI will be empty.

Nieuwe drivers in de vorm van de de Hotas Cougar v3.00 drivers. Een nieuwe Foxy versie, om je stickfiles te creëren met de vele extra tools voor de Cougar.
En als laatste prefab stickfiles voor de diverse flightsims in de Foxyv4FSSP.exe.
En ik zeg het misschien ten overvloede. Ondanks dat het niet echt bewezen is, wordt er toch benadrukt de throttle te disconnecten voordat je gaat flashen.
Dus lees de bijgevoegde readme's goed. Je bent gewaarschuwd.

OCI

De One Click Installer is klaar.
Jelle kondigde 3 uur geleden dat de one click installer klaar is.
Er zijn binnenkort 2 versies beschikbaar. De huidige versie is de "light" uitvoering die alleen alle benodigde patches gebruikt en op de juiste volgorde installeerd.
De "full version" zal ook alle benodigde patches in zich hebben en rond de 200 MB zijn.
Nu dus voorlopig alleen het installer script.
Mocht je het Frans beheersen kun je het nieuws op Check Six volgens anders zou ik Frugals nemen.
Aangezien er geen install readme bij zit opgemerkt dat het bij de installer, de light versie dus, van belang is dat je de benodigde patches correct benoemd zodat de installer ze ook herkent. Ook zou ik alle benodigde patches in eenzelfde map stoppen waar de installer ook in staat, om vervolgens de exe zijn werk te laten doen.

MB-339 upgrade package

Coolhand van het Italiaanse virtuele squadron VIAF heeft een mooie upgrade set uitgebracht voor de Aermacchi MB339 een Italiaanse trainer.
Coohand in de Readme over de patch:

This package will update the MB-339 in your SP4 installation with a:
- new 3D model (higher detail, and the possibility to switch between the MB339CD in use now by the Italian Air Force, or the MB-339A/PAN, in use by "Frecce Tricolori" display team).
_ new skins: 3 different Italian liveries, and 3 international ones (UAE, RNZAF and Argentina).
- updated flight model .dat to support new model features and animations. (Animated landing gears, including nose wheel steering, and animated canopy).

EagleFire vertaalde het volgende van de Check six site van Skypat betreffende de 1 click installer die Skypat aan het maken is:

The patch OCI 1.0 will be available this weekend it will be available in 2 versions

A pack FULL of about 220 Mo that will allow updating his version of Falcon 4.0 without taking care of anything else.

But we have also to think about the persons that already have all the patchs, the READ pack is done for them! In fact, the delivered installeur with the READ pack will allow updating Falcon 4.0 while using all the patchs that you already have.
Well heard, the installeur will signal you automatically if it lacks for him files. Of more if it some lacks you a, not any panic, C6 hostera the patchs a to an in a centralized place.

At last I add that the political one did not change... A click to indicate the way of Falcon 4.0 Another to start up the installation. And this is all... Falcon 4.0 will be installed and configured! You will not have anymore than to choose your resolution.
