Lang gewacht en dan nu eindelijk gekomen.

- It´s Christmas Time - The Buddy-Spike SkinGroup proudly presents a threefolded skinpack consisting of more than 50 skins! Featured aircrafts the SU-27 Flanker series with well known and exotic colour schemes, the F-16 Fighting Falcon in all its beautiful aggressor paintings and Tail Art versions from some European countries, the F-4 Phantoms in colours from the early sixties to the present day. All skins are super hi res dds skins, that will enhance your BMS based installation of Falcon 4 incredibly! At the moment, the Phantoms and the Flankers will go into a SP4.2/BMS and a FF3 installation as well. The Aggressors, however, will fit only into FF3. Groot onderhoud

We gaan de server en aanverwanten vervangen en herplaatsen, dus het kan zijn dat we tijdelijk even off line zijn.
Ook VFF gaat hierdoor mee in onderhoud.
Maar ik beloof dat het niet lang zal gaan duren, want de feestdagen zonder Falcon5.nl of VFF .... wie wil dat nu?
Prettige dagen alvast.

Wolfhound 32 heeft een alfa versie van zijn F-14B cockpit vrij gegeven.
Hij vraagt hulp in het verbeteren van de pit.
Zeker de moeite waard om een kijkje te nemen.

Frugals

TacRef update

In April van dit jaar melde we dat Crashpilot een tacref manual had gemaakt zoals die ook te vinden is in Falcon 4 zelf.
Vandaag komt hier een update tooltje bij die al de gegevens van de manual in Falcon 4 installeert. (niet getest).
Hoor graag wat jullie er van vinden.

14-12:

F-15C 3D cockpit released!

This is a cooperation project between Daws and Aeyes.
Daws has done a very good job on this pit, in my opinion this is sofar the best 3D pit available for Falcon. So if you see any chance to thank him for his excellent work please do.
The pit features moving items like the stick, throttle and rudder pedals, but also improved instruments, reflections and the possibility to open the canopy and clickable buttons and switches.
Check the 'cockpits' link at the main page menu for the download and description of what is clickable.
Also a word of thanks to Homer and AV8R for their input !

Popup berekeningen

Falcas mailde mij een paar weken geleden met een programma voor het uitrekenen van de juiste pop-up attack parameters.
Nu is er een verbeterde versie.
Falcas over dit programma in de bijgevoegde manual:

I started to make this little program for myself because I got more and more interested in the strike mission.
Reading all the material I found out, that the way of use of the visual reference points, was different between the SP3 manual and the MCH 11-F16v5. After making the first calculations on a piece of paper I found it too much work to have fun with falcon this way.
But if I had a program that would do all the calculations for me, it would be a different ball game all together. Now it is a lot more fun to plan and fly a complete mission.
It gives an enormous amount of joy when it works as planned. I know that there are still some problems and only one type of pop-up is in the program. I hope to solve some of these problems and get other profiles in the program as well. I wish everybody a lot of fun with the program.
